Ignorant fool on the train
Scenario - Ok so basically, I was on the train in London and this conversation took place with this random lady. I get on the train and have a sit. At this point I notice nothing. Second stop, lady gets on the train, sits across me and has a scowl across her face.
Lady to me: At least hold on to it and throw it away when you get off the train. DON'T LITTER!
Me: Sorry??!??...
Lady: You heard me, don't eat kfc and leave your trash behind
*I look around for what she's talking about, and spot the kfc rubbish, chicken bones and all to my left, I take a deep breath and retort*
Me: Wow, did you see me eating it and why would you assume it's mine, what about the gentleman next to me?
Lady: All I am saying is not to litter...
Me: How did you make the assumption? Because it's on the sit next to me, it must have been mine? It is not mine.
Me: Please explain that logic to me, is it not possible it could belong to the man next to me? or someone else, why would you direct your comments at me?
Me: Please enlighten me...
Lady: But...*I cut her off*
Me: Seriously, tell me, I want to know, does it look like I've just eaten chicken, can you see grease on me or do I smell like kfc?
Me: I must say it is very ignorant of you to assume that just because I'm sitting next to it, it must be mine. So ignorant.
Lady: *Starts blushing at this point* Well if you didn't... *I cut her off again*
Me: Could you please count the number of people sitting around the vicinity of said rubbish. Now why did you single me out?
Lady: I just assumed.... *I cut her off again*
Me: Your comments leave me no choice but to believe that, it is simply the fact that I'm black that you made your conclusion. Contrary to popular belief not all black people love KFC and as a matter of fact, I'm vegetarian (I'm not really, I was just so annoyed with her)
Lady: ....
Me: Next time, make sure before you start going off on random people on the train and, if it bugs you that much, just pick it up and if you catch them doing it, tell them off...
*Rest of the passengers start clapping*
That's just another day in London for you. But the cheek of this lady. I don't even eat in public including on the street or trains....SMH + KMT
